An Austin tragedy...a world's inspiration and loss

My daughter had come to me in shock telling me how this boy she met at ACL and saw at a party passed away as he enjoyed Christmas with his family. The only thought of it was devastating, but then she came back at me;

"Mom watch this," she said with watery eyes,"This is Ben Breedlove, the boy I told you about."

I watched, and as the first few seconds of footage went by my tears were flowing uncontrollably. I felt shame...here I was 48 years of an amazing life and feeling sorry for myself because my arthritis was acting up. How dare I complain...
